AG Poll....Today or Historicals??

I would say historicals...because even my Today gals take on a historical personality of their own.

Although I came to know AG through the historicals, I prefer the Today girls. I feel I have more latitude in things I can make for them and it is FAR easier for me to say "no" to things I don't like in the Today line.

Historicals were definitely our first love. In the past year my daughter has become interested in the AGTs. I think the LE's are her least favorite. She hasn't really cared for their stories, until the introduction of Jess.

I really wish AG would introduce a completely new historical. We're not that interested in the friends line.

Historicals. I'm such a history buff! I love learning about history and making historical outfits.

I grew up loving the historicals before there was such thing at AGOT. When I collected AG there was just Kirsten, Samantha and Molly. Then Felicity and Addy and then I lost interest. Now that I'm back into AG, I love the Today girls and their outfits, but I still love the historical stuff.

I was first introduced to AG by its historical stories, and I've been loving these books ever since. So I would have to say that I prefer historical dolls, even though AGT's are nice too. If I had to build a dollie collection, I would much rather concentrate on historicals, though. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Which is odd because I hate history, I resent the fact that I ever had to take it, and I refuse to take it ever again. The only reason I have any concept of American history is that I can use the dolls as landmarks in time.

I just really love good stories, which the historical dolls bring. Plus, I think they're easier to collect for and have more personality.
